As a Recovery Worker in Cornwall, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £27,000 per annum. This increases each year in line with our pay progression bands, rising to £30,000 per annum. In addition, you’ll receive a £1,000 annual bonus, bringing your total starting package to £28,000 per annum.

Job Opportunity
We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in-house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.
Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.
This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they’re always treated with respect and dignity.

Essential Skills
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.
You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.
* Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
* Have demonstrable experience of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting
* Successful track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues
* Have a driving license with access to a vehicle. You will need to ensure business use is added to your insurance policy.
* Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* Be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
* Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
* Have good oral and written communication skills
* Be IT competent
* Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
* Be happy to support other With You locations when needed
As part of this role, you will be required to work occasional Saturdays.
