The Role:
The Interim Financial Controller will play a key role in supporting the business’s financial operations for the next 3 - 6 months. This position involves preparing and analysing financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and delivering valuable insights to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
* Undertake the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts.
* Oversee General Ledger integrity and reconcile monthly.
* VAT returns.
* Process data onto the new financial software
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Requirements of the Interim Financial Controller:
* Qualified by Experience or AAT qualified
* CIMA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified preferred but not essential
* Strong technical accounting background with an understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
* Able to work closely with peers and happy to be office based.
