About the Role
A secondary school in Kirkham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join their Science department on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT eager to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will become part of a supportive Science team committed to delivering engaging lessons, driving academic progress, and helping students develop a deep understanding and love for Physics.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
* Plan, assess, and track student progress effectively
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support wider school activities and uphold the school’s values
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Physics and a solid understanding of the wider Science curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students
* Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a collaborative working approach
