About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a long standing client of ours. This is a pivotal role for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of success in sales, within Microsoft Modern Workplace. As a Player-Manager, you will be responsible for both leading a high-performing sales team and personally driving revenue growth through your own sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Act as a Player-Manager, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on sales activity.
Drive business growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives.
Build, refine, and optimise sales processes to improve efficiency and results.
Recruit, onboard, and scale the sales team, ensuring continuous professional development.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategy.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to refine sales approaches.
Monitor team performance, set targets, and implement action plans to ensure objectives are met.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong technical understanding and experience in Microsoft 365, Azure and general IT principles.
Vast experience with Microsoft vendors or service providers.
Experience as a Player-Manager, leading a team while actively selling.
Strong ability to drive sales processes and implement best practices.
Demonstrated experience growing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
Good knowledge of the contact centre industry.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
Data-driven approach to sales performance and forecasting.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
