Estimator | Main Contractor | London | £35,000 – £65,000 DOE We're working with a well-established, privately owned main contractor based in London to recruit an Estimator on a permanent basis. Known for delivering high-quality projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors — ranging from £500k through to multi-million-pound schemes — this is a business with a strong pipeline and a collaborative, non-corporate culture. The Role You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders from enquiry through to submission. Day-to-day this means performing detailed takeoffs, reading and interrogating drawings across all disciplines, and developing a thorough understanding of scope of works for each project. There will also be some Quantity Surveying duties involved, making this a well-rounded commercial role with real breadth. You Will Need: * 3+ years' experience in a construction estimating role, ideally with a main contractor * Strong takeoff ability from 2D drawings across multiple trade packages * Confident reading architectural, structural, and M&E drawings * A sharp commercial mind with a clear understanding of risk and scope * Good communication skills — able to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams * Any exposure to QS duties or cost reporting is a bonus What's On Offer: * £35,000...
