We are a well-established, family-run manufacturing company based in Scunthorpe, specialising in high-quality access panels and riser doors. With a strong reputation for customer service and bespoke solutions, we're looking to expand our team with a passionate and driven Sales & Technical Advisor to support our continued growth.
The Role:
As a key member of our internal sales team, you will be the first point of contact for incoming sales enquiries, playing a vital role in converting leads, managing customer relationships, and supporting project delivery from quote to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
* Prepare and issue quotations tailored to customer requirements
* Process sales orders efficiently and follow up to secure conversions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Collaborate with external sales teams to ensure alignment on strategy and customer needs
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
* Manage the sales pipeline and contribute to forecasting activities
* Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and projects
* Support large or complex customer orders, product launches, and promotional campaigns
* Track and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential issues
* Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a manufacturing or construction-related industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
* Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
