About National Neurodiversity Training
National Neurodiversity Training is a leading provider of data-driven, tailored, and lived-experience neurodiversity training programmes.
We upskill everyone from the C-suite and people managers to entry-level positions, including those who are neurodivergent and neurotypical, in industry-leading organisations: the University of Birmingham, the NHS, Popeyes, Arcadis, and more.
Our programmes are grounded in lived experience and measurable outcomes: shifting confidence, increasing disclosure rates, and embedding cultures of psychological safety. All education is fully customised to each client, so every programme you help deliver will be unique!
About the Role
We're looking for 1–2 freelance educators to join our Education Team who are passionate about neurodiversity. You'll support employees and managers across a range of sectors, helping learners move from awareness to behavioural change.
You'll receive fully developed session materials, facilitator guides, and briefings before each programme - you bring the energy, authenticity, and expertise to bring them to life.
This role is remote (UK) with the option to join us at our offices in Birmingham city centre.
Your Responsibilities
* 5-10 hours training/month (plus paid prep)
* Delivering classes online/in-person (all expenses covered), each lasting 1–3 hours.
* Bringing authenticity, energy, and creating a psychologically safe learning environment.
* Sharing insights from your commercial experience to make neurodiversity relevant to learners.
* Flagging learner feedback, participant needs, or delivery observations to inform programme improvement.
* Liaising with the Education Team ahead of each session.
Who Are You
* Proven experience as a trainer, educator, or public speaker, delivering to professional audiences.
* Strong knowledge of neurodiversity within a workplace context.
* Can make complex or sensitive neurodiversity and workplace topics accessible, engaging, and practical.
* Willing and comfortable delivering both online (MS Teams) and in person, with a strong presence in both environments (all expenses covered).
* Able to proactively communicate and manage your availability.
You may also have:
* Lived experiences of neurodiversity.
* Experience with reasonable adjustments, disclosure, or neurodiversity-related HR frameworks.
* A background in psychology, EDI, HR, coaching, or related discipline.
What You Get
* Competitive freelance session rate (based on experience and expertise)
* All travel, accommodation, and expenses fully covered
* Flexible teaching hours and prioritising remote delivery
* Fully developed session materials and (where relevant) a facilitator assistant present at online sessions
* A close-knit, value-driven team
* The opportunity to deliver work that genuinely makes a difference to neurodivergent people and their workplaces
