Role: Technical Sales Manager Pumps
Location: Flexible
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager Pumps with a strong background in the pumps industry, ideally with exposure to Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water sectors.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoys building long-term customer relationships while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with key customers across Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Water markets
* Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
* Provide technical pump solutions tailored to customer requirements
* Work closely with engineering and internal teams to develop proposals and quotations
* Support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order and delivery
* Attend customer sites, conduct meetings, and represent the business at industry events
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of the pumps industry (essential)
* Proven technical sales or business development experience
* Experience working within at least one of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, FMCG, Water/Wastewater
* Ability to understand and communicate technical engineering solutions
* Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills
* Self motivated with a proven track record of hitting sales targets
* Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
