You will be responsible for ensuring that Migrant Help provides effective and qualitative services in line with contractual obligations and statutory compliance requirements. You will ensure that quality standards are met and, where possible, exceeded. You are expected to maintain and develop excellent working relationships and referral procedures with and between external stakeholders to improve the access to and quality of mainstream and specialist services for MSVC Service Users. You will work consistently to ensure the continuous development of the role and ensure that the service is delivered according to procedures and processes which are accurate, professional and consistent at all times. Role responsibilities  Work closely with the MSVC Head of Service to support their strategic objectives. Responsible for day-to-day operational management of the designated Accommodation and staff Providing management cover where necessary for other MSVC Managers Working with the Facilities Team and any maintenance companies in order to ensure compliance with the Accommodation Standards, including ensuring regular inspections are carried out and issues reported to the Facilities Manager/MSVC Head of Service Managing the staff rota, workload allocation and delegating work appropriately, ensuring effective delivery of service and in line with contractual requirements Responsible for people-related functions, such as recruitment, inductions, employee development, appraisal and supervision, absence monitoring, disciplinary and conflict resolution. Responsible for Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Incident Management for the Accommodation Team Facilitate team meetings, including a minimum of weekly briefings, to ensure that team members are up to date on matters that affect the delivery of service, such as policy and legislation changes Motivate the team to work effectively and to a high standard, inspiring a positive attitude to client service and continuous improvement Assisting with the drafting of internal processes and guidance documents Represent the Organisation at contractor/grant meetings and participate in local/regional forums, stakeholder and policy groups Responsible for any designated regional budgets, including but not limited to, Welfare or Regional Activities Funds Recording, collation and provision of contract finance and performance reporting as per contract deadlines, including but not limited to invoicing, information security, safeguarding, client information, capacity monitoring, KPIs, quality management Lead for the Accommodation Team in the management and quality oversight of work including but not limited to case audit reviews, client feedback, Care Quality Commission, Advice Quality Standards, GDPR, ISO, Investors in Diversity, Information Security, Safeguarding. Lead for the region during internal/external audits.
