Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – Controls
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
Duration: 18 months
Working Shift- Afternoon shift - Mon-Wed 16:30 – 02:30, Thursday 16:30-02:00
Pay rate- 32.49 GBP/hr
Experience Required
* 3–5+ years in manufacturing engineering or controls
* Strong expertise with Siemens/Mitsubishi PLC & HMI software
* Proven track record in automation, robotics, and large-scale project management
* Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and lean manufacturing practices
Nice to Have
* Experience with construction equipment assembly, test, or finish processes
* Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter
* Familiarity with quality tools (8D, 5Why, fishbone diagrams)
* Six Sigma project leadership experience
* Degree or equivalent professional background
