Project Quantity Surveyor – Planned Maintenance
Our client, an established maintenance contractor based in the West Midlands, is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their planned works division. The role offers up to £65,000 plus a package, and is based on a permanent basis.
About the Role
Out of a turnover of over £50 million per annum, the company delivers day‑to‑day planned maintenance, construction, and external refurbishment projects across the South East. The role will involve:
* Cost planning
* Closing out and setting up contracts commercially
* Liaising with the operational team to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
* Reconciling cost/value reports & profit forecasts
* Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
* Approving sub‑contractors & supplier payments
* Attending & charging progress meetings with clients
* Regular on‑site visits
* Overlooking P&L with operational leads
* Cash flow management
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor; an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking a step up will also be considered.
