As we grow, we’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to secure the best deals in the market and help build a world-class supplier network.
Your Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll sit at the heart of Prolo’s operation, reporting into the Procurement director to ensure our customers always get the best value.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Finding, negotiating, and securing the best material prices in the market
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term supplier relationships
* Supporting our AI-led procurement engine with accurate, high-quality data
* Processing customer orders via email, text, WhatsApp, and phone
* Improving procurement workflows as we scale
* Spotting trends and opportunities in pricing, availability, and suppliers
* Helping shape how procurement works at Prolo from the ground up
You’ll have real influence over how our procurement engine evolves and how we deliver value to customers.
Requirements
* Proven experience in procurement within the construction or building materials sector
* Strong negotiation skills and a commercially sharp mindset
* Ability to evaluate suppliers and identify outstanding value
* Confident using digital tools and modern technology
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple orders and suppliers
