About the Role: Curriculum Manager - Culinary Arts - Adult courses and Apprenticeships

As a Curriculum Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Culinary Arts curriculum and services.

You will be a strong candidate for this role if you can demonstrate:

You will lead on the development and delivery of outstanding educational provisionWorking collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues to thrive.A successful track record of line managing teaching and support staff, driving performance and accountabilityExpertise in designing, planning, and delivering high-quality, learner-focused curriculum programmesA solid understanding of compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance processesThe ability to use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progressionExperience managing budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-impact deliveryPrepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g. Ofsted), and quality reviewsThis role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Curriculum Manager to lead Culinary Arts - Adult courses and Apprenticeships provision. You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the requirements of Awarding bodies. As part of our dynamic team, you will inspire and support students to achieve their goals and progress within their chosen field.

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced lecturers ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership role. We're seeking an experienced Curriculum Manager with a proven track record in leading high-quality curriculum design and delivery—this role is suited to professionals already operating at this level.

About The Team

You will be joining a high-performing and forward-thinking leadership team, working closely with colleagues across CCC to deliver on our shared goals. This role will involve line management of 12 staff, supporting their development and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As part of our senior leadership structure, you will contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the college and ensuring its delivery through effective leadership, innovation, and operational oversight.

About You

We're looking for an inspiring and experienced leader with:

Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable settingDeep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievementStrong strategic thinking, communication, and people management skillsA collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective partnerships internally and externallyA commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environmentsA proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learner successA relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these) with experience in Culinary Arts. You'll be passionate about shaping education that changes lives and ready to contribute meaningfully to the long-term vision and success of the organisation.
