Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and organised Front of House General Assistant to join our team in Pirbright, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and clients, creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting the smooth operation of our front‑of‑house services.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests and clients with a warm, professional demeanour
* Manage reception desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries
* Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and reservations using scheduling software
* Provide accurate information about services, facilities, and organisational offerings
* Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front‑of‑house environment
* Support team members with administrative tasks and general assistance as needed
* Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols
* Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities
* Proven organisational and time‑management skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively
* Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with scheduling software or reservation systems (preferred)
* Previous experience in a front‑of‑house, reception, or customer service role (preferred)
* Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Professional appearance and demeanour
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
