Are you looking for a genuinely supportive practice where colleagues stay long‑term, teamwork is valued, and clinical standards remain high?
We're working with a highly regarded small animal practice in Berkshire that is looking to welcome an additional Veterinary Surgeon to its experienced and friendly team. Opportunities within practices like this are rare, largely due to the exceptionally low staff turnover and positive working environment they've created.
This is a well‑established, purpose‑built practice with an excellent reputation locally and a loyal client base. The team has grown organically over many years and prides itself on maintaining a collaborative, enjoyable workplace where vets are supported to develop their interests and enjoy a sustainable work‑life balance.
The role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys both medicine and surgery, values strong client relationships, and wants to work within a stable and experienced team.
You'll be joining a close‑knit team of experienced vets, RVNs, receptionists and management staff, many of whom have been with the practice for several years.
The caseload is varied and interesting, with colleagues holding interests and further qualifications in areas such as internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, rabbits and small furries, creating excellent opportunities for collaboration and learning.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with solid GP experience who is confident with routine medicine and surgery, enjoys building lasting client relationships, and is looking to join a genuinely friendly and supportive team where they can settle long‑term.
