Job title: 24x7 NOC Engineer Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer (minimum 3 years) to join our 24/7 operations team. You’ll be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network issues across a diverse customer base, ensuring stability and performance at all times. What we are looking for: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Network Engineer in an enterprise or NOC environment. Strong hands-on network troubleshooting skills (routing, switching, WAN/LAN, circuits). Ideally CCNA certified (open to strong candidates without certification). Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift rotation and onsite in Belfast. Experience collaborating with third‑party suppliers and managing escalations. Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure. Eligible for Security Clearance. This is a hands-on technical role requiring genuine network engineering experience. You’ll work closely with key teams across TechOps while supporting mission‑critical network environments. What You’ll Be Doing Act as the first point of technical escalation for network-related incidents. Log, manage, and resolve faults/service requests—aiming for high first-time fix rates. Work within defined SLAs to ensure timely and effective incident resolution. Maintain accurate, detailed shift handovers and keep tickets updated throughout the lifecycle. Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams. Troubleshoot and configure Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran switches/routers, DSLAMs, modems, and associated network systems. Manage circuit faults across ADSL, SDSL, Ethernet, NGA, MPF, and SMPF. Liaise with third‑party suppliers and field engineers to progress and resolve incidents. Monitor network performance and alerts using SolarWinds. What’s in It for You?
