Your New Role
Reporting into the CFO, you will be leading the Record of Report core finance process and team, providing day-to-day administrative and technical supervision to a team of professional Record to Report accountants and clerical colleagues.
This critical, hands on, fast paced role and will involve managing the end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency and accuracy across our financial reporting functions.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Owning and developing a standardised, simplified and automated Record to Report process for all Survitec business functions and entities
2. Ensuring the company complies with regulations and good financial practice
3. Developing and communicating a compelling vision of one global, streamlined Record to Report process and the benefits this brings
4. Identifying and developing convergence paths to rationalise processes from multi-platform basis onto a single, optimised shared services platform
5. Leading the integration work needed to on-board all Survitec entities into the shared services Report to Record model
6. Leading, managing and motivating the Report to Record team to deliver exceptional internal customer service, meeting
7. Making sure all KPIs are met and observing the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Uses performance measures to drive delivery and continuous process improvement
8. Supporting the Head of Shared Services to deliver an effective Shared Services strategy, aligned to delivery of Survitec business strategy and values

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
9. Experience operating at a senior level within a large private organisation such as an accomplished Financial Controller
10. People management experience, supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results
11. Drive to make improvements
12. Confident in presenting and operating at a very senior level
13. Fully qualified chartered accountant
14. Educated to University (First degree) level, and qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
