We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our service users their home. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each residents needs. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents conditions to the nursing staff. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in IT systems used for documentation and reporting. Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents. Qualifications Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong command of English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents when necessary. Basic IT skills are required for maintaining electronic records and documentation. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.
