Salary: £25,000.00 - £27,000.00 (depending on experience)

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

Location: South Wales/ Bristol

About the role

Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to join our ICT team in their South Wales offices.

As a First Line IT Support Technician you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and incidents, providing efficient and friendly support to end-users. You will work closely with our outsourced Managed Service Provider, escalating more complex issues to second and third line support as needed.

What you'll be doing

o Acting as the first point of contact for all IT support queries via phone, email, and ticketing system
o Logging and tracking incidents and service requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution
o Setting up and configuring new user accounts, hardware, and software
o Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and access management
o Providing basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and best practices


What you'll need to have

o Previous experience in a first line IT support or helpdesk role
o Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
o Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP, DNS, VPN)
o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues methodically and efficiently
o Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

o Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise)
