What You’ll Do: Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing support and resolving issues calmly and professionally Operate CCTV systems in line with Trust procedures and assist with locking/unlocking secure areas Escort patients, staff, and visitors when required, ensuring their safety and dignity Liaise with emergency services and internal teams, providing clear communication and accurate incident reporting Support the wider Portering & Support Services team during quieter periods and contribute to a positive working environment Promote a culture of ZERO Harm by reporting safety incidents through SALUS and maintaining GDPR compliance What You Bring: Excellent communication & customer service skills Experience in working in a similar role A SIA Licence holder Knowledge of security techniques. Must be punctual and have the ability to think on their feet.
