Role Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Oral Health Practitioner to deliver community outreach programmes in Redbridge, including fluoride application and tooth brushing schemes across a wide variety of community settings. Your focus will be on quality and safety, and you will act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of outreach programmes to the highest standard.
* Play an active role in stakeholder engagement to promote uptake of schemes.
* Direct and supervise a team of Outreach Therapists and Extended Duties Dental Nurses and support a cohesive team approach.
* Develop and strengthen partnership working both internally and externally.
* Attend commissioner meetings to provide feedback and background for activity reports.
* Travel around London to reach the communities served.
Key Requirements
* Experienced Oral Health Practitioner.
* Ability to work in a very busy environment, remain calm, and deliver outreach programmes effectively through challenging situations.
* Independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
* Positive attitude, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to best practice and continued professional development.
* Full UK driving licence or EU equivalent licence (not exchanged from a non‑EU country).
* Willingness to travel around London as part of duties.
