Job Description

The Growth Programmes Lead is responsible for facilitating and supporting best practice in Client Account Management, Sector Management, and Framework Management to drive top line growth for the UK&I Ramboll Business. Working closely with business development and operational leadership from across the business, you will review existing practices, define and implement improvements, and report on progress to UK&I Executive and Group across the three programmes. The role requires a commercial mindset, a strong understanding of our sector and industry, and strong communication skills. You will report to the Head of Growth and Sales.

You will engage across the Market Pursuits Team, drawing together bidding operations, embedding the Department Plan into daily activity. You will monitor and maintain progress of the plan, highlighting gaps in the required capabilities to deliver. This will include supporting team members who may have stretch goals to own or enable delivery of specific Department Plan tasks.


Your New Role & Responsibilities

* Further develop and manage the UK&I Key Client Programme, including:
o Overseeing training requirements for KAMs/KCMs and their teams, collaborating with relevant business/training owners to ensure upskilling.
o Ensuring Client intelligence is disseminated and shared with MPT leads at the earliest opportunity.
o Ensuring KCMs are aware of industry and organisational changes that could impact their management approach.
o Working with central Marc Comms to define Key Account communications plans and events.
o Facilitate annual client review on behalf of RUK, including onboarding, downgrading, or removal of accounts from the Key Client Programme as necessary.
* Further develop and manage the Frameworks Improvement Programme, including:
o Overseeing training requirements for Framework Managers and their teams.
o Ensuring Client intelligence is disseminated and shared with MPT leads.
o Ensuring Framework Managers are aware of industry and organisational changes that could impact clients.
o Working with central Marc Comms for communications plans and events.
o Updating processes to better aid management of frameworks.
o Analysis of Framework performance (e.g., mini bidding performance, book to burn) and sharing insights with Framework Managers.
* Further develop and manage the Sectors Programme, including:
o Ensuring collaboration across all business areas within the priority sectors through facilitation of sector meetings.
o Tracking progress of sectors against sector strategies.
o Identifying ways to better support the Sector Teams with central resources.
* In exceptional circumstances, lead major opportunities (Must Wins) for Key Accounts and, where appropriate, form, lead, and motivate cross‑business pursuit teams, including:
o Leading preparation of Capture Plan with Bid Owner and attending Go/No‑Go meetings.
o Leading the bid team to ensure positioning is incorporated into bid planning and writing, acting as a bid reviewer to check alignment with client needs.


About You

* 10+ years’ experience in the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors.
* Deep understanding of the Engineering Consulting Market within the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors, including public sector policy, funding routes, and challenges across sub‑sectors.
* Understanding of (and ideally experience with) processes for the management of Key Client Accounts within the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors.
* Experience leading tenders for an engineering consultancy for tenders in excess of £1 m revenue.
