We are looking for teachers of all instruments or singing who are looking to build up a new day of teaching within our busy music school.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering student engagement, and delivering high-quality instruction tailored to the needs of diverse learners. This role requires a commitment to educational excellence and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Teach adults and children on a one to one basis.
* Build up a portfolio of students.
* Prepare students for music exams
* Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
* Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programmes and share best practices.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in music is essential
* Some previous teaching experience
* Experience of preparing students for music exams
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting students' growth.
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £24.00-£27.00 per hour
