Communications Officer - 3 month FTC

This role puts you at the heart of how we engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. As custodian of the Curo brand, you'll develop compelling campaigns that bring our social purpose to life.
As a key member of our Communications Team, you'll deliver digital content, media materials and customer publications that showcase the positive impact we make every day.
What you'll be doing
* Provide administrative support for the Communications team
* Understand and work within Curo's branding guidelines and support communications projects and initiatives
* Work with the Communications and Media Manager to produce advertising and editorial content for newsletters, press releases and digital channels
* Contribute to the management of Curo's social media channels, including training new colleagues, live events, monitoring activity and using analytics systems
* Contribute to the management of Curo's website, creating content, updating the system, using analytic tools and working with colleagues across the business to provide a high quality, dynamic site.
* Categorise and evaluate media coverage, and produce a regular media watch report using a monitoring software system
* Administrate Curo's photo library including indexing and archiving
* Administrate our event and display materials
* Maintain business continuity documents and information
* Maintain an information asset register
* Co-ordinate and support awards entries and activity
* Act as administrator for the communications teams' licences and contracts
* Arrange translations and the production of alternative formats including Braille, large print and audio
* Take personal responsibility for the health and safety of myself and others by working within Curo's Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times
More about you
We're looking for an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in delivering impactful campaigns and exceptional copywriting skills.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Bring a can-do attitude and flexible, commercially-minded approach
* Be able to evidence skills in copywriting and digital media management, ideally including experience in using content management systems
* Evidence experience of working in a similar environment
* Demonstrate high level skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* Evidence experience in handling photography and other visual material
* Demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise in a busy environment
* Illustrate the ability to deliver complete projects and work to deadlines
* Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Be a team player who can support and promote Curo's objectives and values
* Be self-motivated, able to work independently and use my initiative
You'll need excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in this fast-paced role. Your collaborative approach will help you integrate effectively within our broader PR & Communications team.
