The role:
Responsible for developing and managing personnel security culture across TADE UK sites, including policy implementation, risk assessment, and security processes. The Security Controller Lead will oversee National Security Vetting aftercare, liaising with HR and Welfare, and report to the UK Head of Security.
This role can be based in Lincoln, West Yorkshire, Wirral, Powys, or Berkshire, with travel across these locations.
What you'll be involved in:
* Ensuring compliance with legislation and government standards (IPSA).
* Facilitating inspections by government or contracting authority representatives.
* Implementing security controls for NSV staff, including vetting and risk management.
* Maintaining a personnel security Risk Register.
* Aligning security policies with HR and Welfare policies.
* Managing pre-vetting checks and Vetting processes (SC & DV).
* Reporting changes affecting security clearances.
* Advising on security controls for bids and contracts.
* Developing and updating personnel security policies and training.
* Investigating security breaches and incidents, reporting to UK Head of Security.

* Knowledge of IPSA processes and protocols.
* Experience in defence security operations, preferably with FSC site requirements.
* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to present complex security information clearly.
* Proactive, collaborative, and strategic planning skills.
* Security qualifications (e.g., NPSA courses, BTEC) are preferred.
