We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking cleaner to join our supportive team. Ensuring a high level of cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us and we require an individual who is motivated to achieve this for our pupils and staff. You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning duties within a specified area of the school adhering to Health & Safety procedures and regulations. Main duties will include:
* Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and waste removal in your area of the school
* Providing a safe working environment whilst dealing with chemicals, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Heath (COSHH) Assessments
* Ensuring all cleaning schedules are followed
* Vacuuming
* emptying bins
* wiping desks
* mopping of hard floors
* cleaning bathrooms
* dusting etc.
Reliability and a degree of flexibility are essential to this role.

* Someone who has high cleaning standards, taking pride in their work to ensure the children have a clean and safe school in which to learn
* Able to work under guidance or individually to carry out the range of duties required

* Able to communicate positively with all the members of the school community including children and adults to contribute to the welcoming and supportive ethos of our school
There may be a requirement to work during term-time and also during some school holiday periods (when hours will be 'blocked' together to meet the deep cleaning needs of the school)
28 days holiday
Term time 39 working weeks
Plus 4 weeks during certain holidays but flexible
Experience would be an advantage
A Dbs check will need to be completed unless the applicant has a recent one
Hours are Monday to Friday between 3.00 to 6pm (2 hours hours a day Monday to Friday)
