Job description – Contract Manager (West Berkshire Community Hospital - London Road, Thatcham RG18 3AS– Site based)
Salary: £34,000 Annual - 40 Hours a week.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Oversight: Manage and administer cleaning & portering contracts at West Berkshire Community Hospital, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to cleaning team, portering team and site supervisor, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main liaison between the client and GSF.
Operational Excellence: Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability, always with a focus on the well-being of your team.
Financial Management: Work closely with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager to ensure budgets are on track while upholding the highest service standards.
What We're Looking For
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within the cleaning industry.
Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of cleaning processes and equipment; a BICSc qualification is a plus, but not essential.
Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial metrics and manage budgets effectively.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and organisational abilities, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Regulatory Awareness: A confident understanding of Health C Safety and COSHH regulations.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
Professionalism: A smart, tidy appearance combined with punctuality and strong IT skills (especially in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
Flexibility: Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including occasional evenings and a weekend only to oversee deep cleaning if its required.
