The Role The role will be to assist the Marketing Department to achieve growth and recruitment targets. The post holder will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day duties and the development content and communications through social media and other platforms. Main Duties for this role include To deliver effective and inspiring presentations to school pupils during assemblies, parents and other influencers as required. To support with the development and delivery of events across the full range of marketing activity, for example high school, university, apprenticeship and employer responsive. Develop quarterly content strategies that align with short-term and long-term marketing goals and can be adapted across all platforms.– including but not exhaustive to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, snapchat. LinkedIn & YouTube. Content will include video, photography and some graphics. Assist with the organisation, execution of all college events including student marketing/learner experience (interview and parents’ evenings) and marketing recruitment events (e.g. open events, school taster days and college visits) as required. These will include, but are not limited to, liaising with the relevant teams to prepare for events and issue timely communications. Work closely with the Enrichment Team to develop and maintain internal student communications, developing annual plan. This includes promotion of key dates (e.g. black history month, volunteering fairs, UCAS information, Top Teacher Awards, Assessor of the Year awards, GCSE revision and exam etc.) Does Macclesfield College sound like the perfect working environment for you?
