Working Hours: Full-time,35 hours a week or part-time, 21 hours Location: Royal Holloway (the role will also include teaching at Guildford and Reading) Contract Type: Permanent As our student numbers increase and we continue to diversify our programmes and portfolio, we are looking for qualified lawyers with legal practice experience to join us as LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURERS in our Academic Team based at our satellite campus at Royal Holloway, Egham, Surrey. The role will also include some teaching at our Guildford campus and our satellite campus at Reading. The role includes teaching and assessing across our course portfolio, including LPC/SQE, law conversion programmes and the LLB degree, as well as pastoral care, assessment/course design, marketing and other tasks relevant to the position of lecturer/ senior lecturer. We are looking for people who are/have: Undergraduate degree or equivalent and professional qualifications (e.g. LPC) Legal practice experience as a solicitor or barrister Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards this Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards the PgCHE Please note that if you do not currently hold this, it is a requirement of the University that you will enrol into the programme (delivered and financially supported by the University), usually within 12 months of passing probation. Successful completion/ qualification is essential to this role. Please note that to be appointed as a Senior Lecturer, you will have substantial teaching experience, as well as both FHEA and PgCHE.
