Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day remote)
Salary: Up to £70,000k base

Job scope
Our client is a leading specialist consultancy within the payments industry, recognised across Europe for delivering high-quality insight and strategic advice working with some of the most innovative global retailers, banks, acquirers, and payment providers.
About You
You are an experienced payments professional with an extensive experience and a deep understanding of the financial drivers that underpin the payments ecosystem. You come from a financial or analytical background, ideally with an accountancy qualification or equivalent finance credentials.
You have hands-on experience with card scheme data (Visa, Mastercard), particularly around scheme fees and pricing structures, and are comfortable working with data from issuers, acquirers, or directly from the schemes.
Day to day you will
* Build and maintain financial models and conduct data analysis.
* Research and synthesise market and competitive intelligence.
* Develop and deliver client presentations and project reports.
* Coordinate projects across internal and client teams.
* Maintain shared data and analytical resources used across projects.
* Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base and thought leadership.
To be successful in the role, you must be
* A payments or financial services professional with 8+ years industry experience
* A Card scheme expert including scheme fee and pricing analysis
* Highly analytical with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Methodical and detail-oriented in your approach to work.
* Capable of communicating complex findings clearly and visually through presentations.
* Motivated by delivering high-quality insight and value to clients.
* Strong financial or accounting background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred).
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
