The Role
The Account Manager will be accountable for commercial relationships with a customer portfolio, maintaining daily business enquiries, and new business development and sales.
What youll be doing
● Manage a portfolio of agency accounts, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
● Manage and grow sales within assigned accounts, including developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities.
● Working closely with product and technology teams to help deliver and roll out new products and enhancements to customers based on your customer knowledge and relationships
● Help negotiate and close all commercial agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimum profitability for Travelfusion
● Liaise with legal and finance departments to validate proposals and close deals as required
● Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to clients and suppliers
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
● Staying up-to-date on industry trends
● Conducting market research to identify potential clients and new opportunities with airlines on the target markets
What experience youll have
● Previous experience in account management with OTAs/TMCs/Airlines
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
● Good problem solving ability with ability to use initiative and common sense
● Self-motivated and self-driven
● Results orientated, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations
● Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
● Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a sales pipeline
● Knowledge of travel technology industry
● Excellent written and verbal communication
● Advanced Excel skills
We offer hybrid working which requires 3 days per week minimum to be based in our Central London office.
