Key Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature engineering workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems and analytical solutions.
Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Build dashboards and visualisations to track KPIs and performance metrics.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with UK data regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices within the team.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
4–12 years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
