Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)
Salary: £44,000.00 per annum
To support the Regional Security Manager in delivering effective security operations across asylum accommodation sites. The Security Team Leader will oversee site-based security officers, ensuring the safety and welfare of service users, staff, and assets. The role includes supervising daily security activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance with statutory obligations and AASC Schedule 2 requirements.
Procedures
Supervise and coordinate the daily duties of site-based Security Officers.
Ensure security coverage across all designated properties and respond to incidents as required.
Support the completion of incident reports and High Priority Notifications (HPNs) in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct routine inspections and audits of security systems and procedures.
Assist in the implementation of safeguarding measures for vulnerable service users.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Home Office and company standards.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance for Security Officers.
Support the Regional Security Manager in delivering security briefings and updates.
Attend meetings and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies.
Be available for out-of-hours support and escalation when necessary.
Follow established security procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
Ensure all site security protocols are adhered to by staff.
Staff Management
Support the scheduling and supervision of security officers.
Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching.
Essential Requirements
SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
Experience in front-line security or similar role.
Driving licence is essential for this role

Maintain regular communication with the Regional Security Manager and team
Attend daily operations meetings and contribute to regional planning

Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures

Ensure all documentation is completed and filed correctly
