Job Description:
As a Front of House Supervisor at Sodexo at JRDC Waterloo Lines - Warminster, you'll lead a front-of-house team, ensuring smooth operations in the bar and food outlets. Your role is customer-facing, with a key focus on interacting with our Armed Forces personnel every day. What you'll do:
* Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed on time and to a high standard, while motivating your team to do the same.
* Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards in all front-of-house areas.
* Collaborate with catering management and chefs to maintain smooth communication and team alignment.
* Promote and enforce health and safety practices – be proactive about spotting and reporting potential hazards to keep everyone safe.
* Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address any risks.
* Conduct weekly team huddles with the team.
* Provide ongoing feedback and support to your team, ensuring they feel confident and valued in their roles.
What you bring:
* Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering operations and some supervisory or team leadership experience.
* Experience in hospitality (hotel, bar, or restaurant) is a plus.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
* Comfort with working at a fast pace and adapting to changing situations.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate well with senior management.
