RM Recruit are working with a brilliant Birmingham based organisation, who are seeking to hire a Finance Assistant on a 2-month on-going contract. This role will see you support the Finance function in ensuring the effective running of the sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll processes.
Main duties include, but not be limited to:
* Inputting petty cash returns.
* Maintain and reconcile nominal account.
* Process payroll.
* Calculate and post payroll deductions.
* Collect, compile, and enter payroll data for submission.
* Credit control.
* Raise invoices/credit notes.
* Process invoices and get payment authorisation as required.
* Review and maintain aged debtors.
* Complete monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Prepare and process BACS payment run.
* Review and maintain aged creditors.
* To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the post, participating in appropriate training activities.
* Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
* To work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection whilst encouraging others to do the same.
