Salary: £40,876 rising to £42,711 per annum (Deputy Head Grade 1 & 2)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences: The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Deputy Head to join our Health & Life Sciences Faculty. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our students, staff, and local communities by delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education.
As the Deputy Head, you will work closely with the Head of Faculty, playing a pivotal role in managing and developing our portfolio of courses. Your leadership will be key to ensuring excellence in teaching and learning while responding to the ever-changing landscape of the health and life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Faculty in leading and managing the Health & Life Sciences team to deliver excellent outcomes for learners.
* Lead curriculum development, aligning with industry needs and regulatory standards.
* Mentor and inspire a diverse team of academic professionals.
* Engage with key stakeholders, including the NHS, universities, and local employers, to enhance partnership opportunities.
* Promote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified teacher (Level 4 or above) with extensive teaching experience in an appropriate subject area.
* A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or significant experience in a related area.
* A strong understanding of curriculum design, student engagement, and quality assurance.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
* A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and a student-centered approach.
