Catalent’s Bathgate facility is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate and drive the storage, production, packaging, and distribution of clinical trial medicines—ensuring life-changing therapies reach patients around the world.
The Role:
1. Lead end-to-end project planning, ensuring all milestones are met in alignment with client expectations.
2. Manage projects across single or multiple business lines or sites, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinating timely responses to their queries.
3. Facilitate and lead meetings with internal teams and clients to drive project progress and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
4. Coordinate billing milestones by notifying the Finance team of project completions.
5. Champion client communication, serving as the central hub for all project-related updates and ensuring a seamless client experience.
6. Represent Catalent at client meetings and conferences, promoting our full suite of services and supporting business development efforts.
7. Support or lead cross-functional and cross-site project teams, contributing to departmental, site, or global initiatives.
8. Mentor and train junior Project Managers and Coordinators, and support training across other functions on project management processes.
Candidate Requirements:
9. Proven experience in project management, with strong client-facing skills and a passion for exceeding expectations.
10. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.
12. A degree in a scientific discipline, an apprenticeship, or equivalent relevant experience.
13. Industry knowledge in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or manufacturing.
14. The ability to work independently, lead multi-site teams, and thrive in a global, multilingual environment.
15. A client-first mindset, with a consistent drive to deliver exceptional service.
