About the Role
Balfour Beatty are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Administrator to join our Highways Connect Plus Services Team. The Administrator will take ownership of the collation, maintenance and reporting of data in relation to HSW and provide timely and accurate administrative support to the HSW team on the project. We have site offices across the M25 network, and this role can be based from Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms.
Connect Plus Services (CPS) brings together the collective strength of our parent companies – Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis Road Operation UK. With around 600 people based at eight locations across the M25 network, we work on behalf of Connect Plus and National Highways to manage the operation of the M25 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from routine maintenance to managing the whole‑life requirement of thousands of assets across the network.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting/producing collateral and reports for use across the HS&W teams and UK projects/offices.
* Monthly and weekly data reporting.
* Ownership of Project HSW Governance.
* Building and developing relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensuring incident reports, learning, and good practice are effectively communicated across the business.
* Recording all Near Miss Cards received and tracking close‑out actions.
* Regular communication and promoting engagement with key stakeholders.
* Assisting in the identification of site HS&W training needs, including collation of training records and reporting of performance.
* Assisting in the planning and execution of events.
* Producing slide packs for executive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
* Assisting with administration for meetings.
Who we're looking for
* Analytical skills with an attention to detail.
* Confidence with IT including Excel and PowerPoint as well as internal data management systems.
* Excellent communicator.
* Experience in providing administration support.
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Self‑motivated and proactive.
* Able to prioritise workload and deadline‑oriented.
* Team player.
