Due to continued growth and investment in new technology, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Offline Programmer Miller Setter Operator to join their machining team.The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who enjoys taking ownership of the machining process from programming through to production.Working within a modern machine shop, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring components are produced efficiently, accurately and to the highest quality standards.ResponsibilitiesProduce offline CNC programs using ONECNC or EdgecamSet and operate CNC milling machines with FANUC controlsEdit and optimise existing CNC programsSelect tooling and machining strategiesRead and interpret engineering drawingsManufacture precision components to tight tolerancesCarry out first-off and in-process inspectionsSupport continuous improvement activitiesImprove cycle times and machining efficienciesWork closely with production, quality and engineering teamsMaintain a safe and organised working environmentEnsure production targets and delivery schedules are achievedAbout YouPrevious experience as a CNC Offline Programmer, CNC Miller or CNC Programmer Setter OperatorStrong CNC milling knowledgeExperience with ONECNC or EdgecamExperience setting and operating FANUC-controlled machinesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerancesGood understanding of cutting tools, feeds and speedsExperience carrying out quality inspectionsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPositive, proactive and hands-on approachHow to ApplyTo apply for the CNC Offline Programmer Miller Setter Operator position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
