About the Role

This is your chance to make a real impact on the student experience. You’ll be the go-to person for planning and delivering exciting events, activities, and initiatives that bring our campus community together. From social events and wellbeing activities to student‑led projects, you’ll help shape a vibrant, inclusive environment for students aged 16+.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver enrichment sessions that align with the College’s enrichment strategy, supporting students’ personal development, behaviour, and attitudes. This includes independently developing events from initial concept through to detailed planning, risk assessments, and successful delivery, while also providing proactive support to the Pastoral Lead.
* Undertake daily work in social spaces which focuses on creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where students can relax, connect with peers, and access informal support.
* Build trusting relationships with students by delivering enrichment activities, promoting positive behaviours, and offering a listening ear. By being a consistent, approachable presence, you help students navigate College life, overcome challenges, and develop the confidence and skills needed for their future.
* Provide regular cross‑college reports that illustrate engagement and activity captured in EBS, identifying any skills gaps and seeking to address them.
* Develop and implement a clear process for capturing the curriculum enrichment offer.
* Support students to record all activities on EBS and ensure student reflections are completed.
* Coordinate student groups to take part in cross‑college collaborative initiatives (e.g., Changemakers).
* Promote, recruit and lead on student volunteer projects, completing any planning documentation, expenditure tracking and impact reports.
Qualifications
* A people person with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and engage both learners and staff in additional activities.
* Self‑starter/finisher with a can‑do positive attitude.
* An imaginative and creative innovator full of ideas for events and activities.
* Experience in youth work, community engagement, or event planning is a bonus—but passion matters most.

This position is term time plus for 42 working weeks.
