Job Title: Head of Sales St Albans - Construction
JOB SPECIFICATION
Reports to: Sales Director
Contract: Full time – 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Based: St Albans
Salary: £60,000 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head of Sales to support the ambitious growth plans of the business. You will provide leadership on matters relating to Sales across the construction side of the business in the North of England. You will be responsible for the construction sales target along with your own personal target. New business generation along with service delivery into pre-existing client base will be key to ensuring the sales targets are achieved.

WHO YOU ARE
6. You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Senior Sales or Management role
7. You are a confident leader of people and process with a passion for delivery of customer excellence
8. You are an excellent networker with the ability to develop strong connections into the construction industry
9. You have experience in the principles of client relationship management
10. You understand what excellent looks like in terms of relationship building, customer engagement and strategic account management
11. You are data driven with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of reporting/management information

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Head of Sales, you’re ultimately accountable for delivering new business against our ambitious sales strategy of achieving £50m turnover per annum by the year 2030.
As such, we see the key responsibilities of the role as being:
24. New business acquisition
25. Driving sales activity into target markets
26. Development of compelling sales solutions that make our company stand out from the crowd
27. Lead management
28. Management and delivery of Sales KPI’s
29. Delivery of Sales Training
30. Enforce Commissions Rules
31. Drive a consultative approach within prospecting activities
32. Successfully manage, monitor and implement marketing feedback/ engagements/ sales campaigns
33. Drive sales minute priorities
34. Monitor and manage internal team communication forums
35. Attend and present at Meet the Buyers Exhibitions
36. Create and project a positive social media presence
37. Corporate Hospitality
38. Work closely and in alignment with other company Heads of Department
39. Staff Training and Development
40. Department Health & Safety aspects (including internal communication briefings)
41. Management Meeting Input
42. Recruitment Process Input
43. Sales System Processes and Audit Input.
