We are searching for a customer-focused, confident communicator who can provide quality administrative support at our Head Office in Hesslewood Country Business Park. Working across People Services to support our Payroll, Projects, HR and Recruitment teams, you will play a pivotal administrative role that supports governance and compliance to enable delivery of an accurate and customer-focused payroll.
Reporting to our Projects & Development Manager, this is a new role with highly varied tasks to assist our continued growth as a service. In time, you will build up your knowledge to provide front line support, triaging contact from staff and the management team so any complex matters can be liaised.
Your typical day might include:
* Responding to enquiries from staff at all levels, recording their queries and liaising with colleagues to obtain an appropriate response.
* Accessing information on our payroll system to answer enquires; with appropriate training, this might include translating a payslip to provide information.
* Playing a key role in monitoring a shared inbox and responding to emails, categorising messages for payroll queries.
* Organising information that comes into payroll such as variations to terms, new starters and leavers so that these can be processed effectively.
* Working collaboratively with HR colleagues to support administration of core processes, including general administrative assistance with recruitment procedures.
* Support with the administration and management of the Company's internal benefit portal.
* Participate in audit processes to ensure compliance of employee files against agreed standards.
