Role Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to support hardware validation and compliance testing for new and existing products. The role involves hands-on testing, test plan development, test reporting, and close collaboration with design and development teams, including testing at external test houses.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform hands-on hardware testing and validation activities
* Produce clear and accurate test reports, including results from external test houses
* Create and develop test plans for new products and emerging technologies
* Support Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation
* Recommend further investigation or improvements based on test outcomes
* Optimise test scripts and tools to improve efficiency and coverage
* Organise, analyse, and present test data to clearly demonstrate results
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong engineering mindset with eagerness to learn new skills
* Background in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
* Hands-on experience with electronics test equipment:
o Oscilloscopes
o Digital Multimeters
o Spectrum Analysers
* Knowledge of compliance standards :
o EMC
o Radio
o Safety
* Experience attending and supporting testing at external test houses

* Experience using test and validation methodologies, tools, and scripts
* Ability to organise, analyse, and present test data effectively
Nice to Have (Non-Essential)
* Experience collaborating with developers to design test cases
* Ability to summarise technical information for different audiences
* Experience managing a test workstack
* Basic experience with Python coding or scripting
