Do you enjoy working with children? We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team at Hilltop Junior School.
You will assist the Breakfast Club Supervisor in creating a safe, fun environment for our children who attend through activities and games, managing behaviour and preparing and helping children with their breakfast choices.
Other duties include attendance record keeping, handling money and administering first aid when required and pastoral care.
Hours: 6.25 per week. Term time only (38 weeks). Working pattern: Monday to Friday 7:15am to 8:30am.
Position Type: Teaching/Child Support. Contract Type: Part-time. Contract Term: Permanent. Position Start Date: Immediate. Application Close: 14/09/2025 Midnight. Date of Interviews: Thursday, 18th September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Breakfast Club Supervisor in creating a safe, fun environment for pupils.
* Manage pupil behaviour during breakfast club activities and games.
* Prepare and help children with their breakfast choices.
* Maintain attendance records.
* Handle money as required by the Breakfast Club operations.
* Administer first aid when required and provide pastoral care.
Qualifications and Skills
* Caring, reliable and enthusiastic attitude toward working with children.
* Ability to work within a team and follow supervision.
