Service & Repair Engineer – Gates & Barriers Location: Liverpool & Surrounding Areas (North Region) A well-established and reputable security manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of large commercial gates for security and specialist sectors. The business is experiencing continued growth and is expanding its Northern Service Team. The Role We are seeking an experienced Gates & Barriers Service Engineer to cover Liverpool and surrounding areas, forming part of a 4-person Northern regional team. This role is focused on the service, repair, maintenance, and fault-finding of automated gate systems installed by the company. You will be field based within your territory. Key Responsibilities * Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of automated gate and barrier systems, including: Sliding and hinged gates, Traffic barriers, Bollards and blockers, Control panels and associated safety systems * Carry out fault diagnosis, identifying and replacing faulty components. * Test systems to ensure they are safe, compliant, and operating correctly. * Complete force testing (nine-point force test) and report any failures immediately. * Install replacement components or carry out minor installation works when necessary. * Maintain a right-first-time approach with full ownership of issues. * Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site...
