Regional Trainer - Residential Care Homes - South Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 - 5 Day Week - 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Commutable from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Chesterfield, Nottingham & surrounding areas
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Trainer to join an established healthcare provider covering high-end Residential homes for older people.
You will need to be experienced in delivering mandatory training courses such as Moving & Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, EFAW within a Healthcare setting.
The role
As a Regional Trainer within the care home sector, you will be responsible for developing and delivering all aspects of the company's learning and development portfolio within the care homes across your geographical area. The role will involve:
1. Delivering training such as Moving and Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, EFAW, Medication etc. to implement the company training strategy within the group
2. Reporting into the Development and Governance Director to continually develop and implement sector-specific training and ensure performance within the branches
3. Ensuring all homes achieve mandatory training and all new starters receive appropriate induction training
4. Carrying out training audits
The criteria to be successful in applying for this role:
1. Driving Licence and willingness to travel essential
2. PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification
3. Moving & Handling Instructor & First Aid Training
4. Understanding of the Care Home sector
