The post holder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct care, in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff in patient care, reporting concerns, working as part of the ward team, assisting with nursing procedures, maintaining patient dignity, and ensuring high standards of care.
You should be aware of health and safety aspects for staff and patients and be flexible to work in different areas within the unit as required. You will organize your daily tasks following appropriate instructions and learn from patient experiences to continually improve standards.
The post holder will be accountable for ensuring the highest standards of care, promoting patient safety, effective care, and a positive patient experience throughout their journey.
