Aspire People are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for their SEND team.
This full-time role begins in September 2025, with an earlier start possible in July for suitable candidates. The successful applicant will support students in:
1. Within SEN-specific classrooms, assisting with targeted interventions
2. In mainstream classrooms, supporting pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
This role is suitable for:
* An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a long-term or permanent position
* A recent graduate aspiring to careers in educational psychology, teaching, or as a SENCO
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with needs such as:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* ADHD
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Complex needs
* Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
* English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Additional desirable experience includes:
* Delivering targeted intervention sessions
* Supporting through 1:1 or small group tutoring
* Assisting with personalised learning programmes
