Programme Director / Programme Lead - Data Centre Exit & Cloud Migration
Contract Opportunity - Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director or Senior Programme Lead to support the successful delivery of a large-scale Data Centre Exit and Cloud Migration programme.
This is a critical transformation initiative that requires an accomplished leader with a proven track record of driving complex technology programmes, challenging delivery assumptions, and ensuring robust execution across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level programme leadership and assurance across the re-planned delivery roadmap.
- Drive the cadence of programme reviews, governance forums, and progress updates with senior stakeholders.
- Establish and lead regular delivery stand-ups to identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and escalation requirements.
- Deliver accurate, insightful, and action-oriented programme reporting.
- Hold delivery teams and stakeholders accountable for agreed outcomes, milestones, and commitments.
- Apply a holistic "systems view" approach to migration planning and execution.
- Lead readiness assessments, migration planning activities, and execution oversight.
- Review and challenge the robustness of plans across interconnected programmes and workstreams to ensure successful programme outcomes.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience operating at Programme Director or Senior Programme Lead level.
- Demonstrable success delivering large-scale Data Centre Exit, infrastructure transformation, or cloud migration programmes.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to challenge constructively, drive accountability, and resolve delivery blockers at pace.
- Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple programmes and business functions.
- Excellent governance, reporting, risk management, and delivery assurance capabilities.
Ideal Background
- Multiple successful data centre exit and migration programmes delivered in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience overseeing large transformation portfolios with significant technology and operational dependencies.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies, infrastructure transformation, and enterprise change delivery.
