Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
3. Efficiently process accounts payable invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts.
4. Verify and reconcile vendor statements, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
5. Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms.
6. Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
7. Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
8. Address vendor inquiries and internal department questions regarding payment status.
9. Support in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable candidate will have:
10. Previous experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a temporary or contract capacity.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
12. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
